The prisoner Sylas, a fellow wizard without his magic, is trapped in both space and time. Together, they slowly work to discover how to free Sylas from his magical cage, as well as learning why, how, and when Sylas was trapped.

Edmon is the first human contact Sylas has had in over a century, and naturally, a bond begins to form. Slowly, Edmon shares more of himself and his home with Sylas. As the bonds of their magic form,  something deeper forms through the looking glass.
